The release introduces Finger AutoPosing, video mocap, and a macOS version.
Nekki's Eugene Dyabin announced the release of Cascadeur 2023.1, a new and improved version of the team's physics-based animation software for 3D keyframe animation of humanoid or other characters.
The highlight of the release is the introduction of Finger AutoPosing to Cascadeur Pro. According to the team, the new tool adds AI-assistance for fingers to the software, enabling 3D Animators to quickly and easily rig humanoid fingers and prepare them for animation. Furthermore, the update brings a cool new ghost outlining tool, the ability to control the camera from the viewport, a control picker, an alpha version of the video motion capture tool, macOS support, and more.
