H Cheng, a 3D Character and Creature Artist, known for specializing in crafting realistic digital portraits, continues the series of lifelike 3D models with yet another remarkable project. This time, the artist has revealed a stunning 3D take of none other than the legendary actor Brad Pitt, imagining a laid-back and confident version of the celebrity.
Unfortunately, the artist didn't reveal a lot of information regarding the production process behind the project. However, based on H Cheng's past works, it is highly probable that a combination of such 3D software as Maya, ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, Mari, and Arnold was employed to bring the Brad Pitt portrait to life. The only confirmed software utilized for the project is Maya's instancing tool XGen, which was used to set up the actor's hair.
And here are some of the renders and behind-the-scenes shots shared by the artist:
Previously, the author also showcased a great sad-looking Orc model with a lot of eye-catching little details like scars, moles, and more.
