An Open-World Survival Coop Game Lets You Craft Cozy Homes

Under A Rock is a coop UE5-powered game in development that has Fortnite and Minecraft vibes.

In case you're looking for a game to enjoy with your friends, there's a new game in development that almost lets you become Indiana Jones exploring dangerous places with monsters. Titled Under A Rock, the project is a UE5-powered procedural open-world survival craft game for 1-10 players. You will explore a tropical world with a different evolutionary path where wildlife is oversized and Neanderthals still exist.

Players will become early-nineteenth-century explorers who have been stranded in a strange new world where there's a different evolutionary path. The development team promises different types of environments, including dark caves, underwater environments, and a vast surface world – all procedurally generated.

Under a Rock offers base-building mechanics letting you make your dream home, village, or city using numerous assets. "There is no limit as to how expansive your base can be or how many small decorative items you can place together," states the developer.

Parties of players can fight, tame, breed, and ride a variety of creatures. Those creatures are said to have different abilities that might be useful when exploring the island. The game will also feature a character creator to let you create a unique character and set up your own look.
