The add-on is being developed by João Desager and is set to be released in late Spring/early Summer.
Technical/Environment Artist João Desager, who earlier this month revealed Miter Box 0.0.5, an enhanced version of a Blender toolset for accurate poly modeling, has recently shared a new demo showcasing the working process behind one the artist's upcoming add-on that will add SDF modeling tools to Blender.
For context, the add-on has been in development since late February and, according to João, was inspired by Lucian Stanculescu's free software for modeling and painting Clavicula. Over the past month, the creator has been sharing great WiP showcases, demonstrating how the add-on is being developed and showing its features.
The newly-revealed demo continued the series and shared a look at the capabilities of João's SDF modeling tools so far. According to the developer, the tools already allow for non-destructive modeling workflows but still have "some rendering aspects that need to be updated" before moving on to the UI and shipping the ready add-on, with João planning to release it in late Spring/early Summer.
