Procreate Dreams 2 has just launched, but for those looking for a lighter investment, there's a more affordable alternative: ToonSquid. It offers all the classic traditional animation tools. Like most mobile apps, it's relatively simple, but it has all the essentials and, in the right hands, can produce impressive results, or at the very least, give you a solid understanding of animation and how it works.
You can also animate your drawings using bones, add effects, and other motion design elements. For example, Yu_Arami prefers ToonSquid over Dreams for their projects:
