Apple Unveiled New iPhone 16, Apple Watch Series 10, and More

On September 9, Apple presented the new iPhone and Apple Watch models and announced its latest devices, including the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, Apple Watch Series 10, and AirPods 4. "It's Glowtime," reads the event description. Let's take a look at the new models the company has unveiled.

iPhone 16 & iPhone 16 Pro

The new iPhones have been designed "from the ground up" for Apple Intelligence, Apple's AI system. As stated on the company's website, "Apple Intelligence is the personal intelligence system that helps you write, express yourself, and get things done effortlessly." At the presentation, it was elaborated that "powerful generative models are at the core of the device." For instance, the new devices will have an enhanced version of Siri. Initially, it will be available only for English, but later it will support French, Chinese, Japanese, and Spanish.

Another new feature of the devices is the Action Button, which can launch various functions – set up an alarm, turn on the flashlight, start recording a voice memo, switch to silent mode, and more. The new iPhones will also have a new dual-camera system and a Camera Control button. This button gives users an easier way to quickly access camera tools, such as exposure or depth of field.

The devices have screens of 6.1 and 6.7 inches with OLED displays, with Apple's most advanced glass ceramic shield.

Apple Watch Series 10

The new smartwatch model is the thinnest among all previous Apple Watches. Its screen is brighter when viewed from an angle and has the largest screen area of any Apple Watch. It has up to 75% more screen area than Series 3 and up to 30% more screen area than Series 4, 5, 6, and SE.

Series 10 has a range of new functions focused on health tracking, water resistance, and listening to music. As for health tracking, the latest Apple Watch will also feature advanced sensors and a new function, detecting sleep apnea. The new Watch has a water resistance rating of 50 meters. Users can also enjoy seamless streaming of music, podcasts, and audiobooks directly through their AirPods.

AirPods 4

The new model offers an enhanced audio experience with immersive sound. Its dynamic geometry has been refined for better sound quality. The new AirPods feature the option for Active Noise Cancellation, which appears in the open-ear design for the first time. The device is powered by an H2 chip and upgraded microphones and offers up to 30 hours of listening time with the case, which is proclaimed to be the smallest of any AirPods cases before.
