Apple Unveiled New iPhone 17, Live Translation in AirPods Pro 3, & More

Apple has held its annual September presentation, showcasing its new products, including iPhone 17, AirPods Pro 3, Apple Watch Series 11, Watch SE 13, and Apple Watch Ultra 3.

The highlight of the event is the reveal of iPhone 17, which, as usually, comes in the base and the Pro versions, along with a brand-new release – iPhone Air.

iPhone 17 Pro is claimed to be the most powerful Apple smartphone ever. Powered by the A19 Pro chip and protected by Ceramic Shield on the back and Ceramic Shield 2 on the front, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will feature an aluminum unibody enclosure and boast a better thermal management system with advanced cooling technology. The gadgets have a laser-welded vapor chamber that works with the aluminum unibody structure to efficiently remove the heat.

The smartphones also have an upgraded camera with the longest iPhone Telephoto ever, 8 pro lenses, and a brand-new design.

iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are presented in three colors:

iPhone Air is the thinnest iPhone, measuring 5.6 mm and weighing 165 grams. Despite the sleek design, the gadget features an immersive 6.5‑inch display and is powered by the A19 Pro chip. The device's body has a titanium frame and a protection of Ceramic Shield and Ceramic Shield 2.

iPhone 17 continues the baseline of Apple gadgets, featuring a brighter screen of 6.3 inches with a Super Retina XDR display and Ceramic Shield 2 protection with three times better scratch resistance. The screen also has the brighness of 3000 nits, which is the highest number for Apple smartphones, and ProMotion up to 120Hz, with 33% fewer reflections.

Pre-order of iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and Air starts at 5:00 a.m. PT on September 12, and the device will be available starting September 19.

The newly revealed AirPods Pro 3 feature in‑ear Active Noise Cancellation, which is up to two times more than in AirPods Pro 2, along with a novel multiport acoustic architecture for deeper bass and better sound quality.

What is more, the new AirPods have a function of Live Translation, powered by Apple Intelligence, which allows you to listen to people speaking in different languages and hear translations through your earphones.

Apple Watch Series 11 is said to be the thinnest Apple Watch with longer battery life of up to 24 hours of normal use on a full charge. The watch supports 5G and features innovative health-care sensors, which include two heart sensors and wrist temperature sensing.

Watch SE 13 has the powerful S10 chip, a wide-angle Always-On Retina display with up to 1000 nits, and health-focused and motion sensors. The device supports up to 18 hours of autonomy work, up to 32 hours in Low Power Mode, and features the fast charging function.

Apple Watch Ultra 3 features a wide-angle OLEDs that make the display brighter when viewed at an angle. The device boasts a battery life of up to 42 hours of normal use and up to 72 hours in Low Power Mode. The watch, featuring 5G, has a variety of health-focused functions: for example, it analyzes your exercise intensity level with Heart Rate Zones, which are automatically calculated and personalized using your health data.

The innovative function is that the watch can send notifications warning of hypertension, chronic high blood pressure.

AirPods 3, Apple Watch Series 11, Watch SE 13, and Apple Watch Ultra 3 will be available starting September 19.
