Embark Studios developed the title on this budget and within a short production period.

Extraction shooter ARC Raiders was a major release last year. However, despite its scale, it turns out that the game's developers, Embark Studio, managed to produce the title on a budget of $75 million.
In the most recent SIFTD Games video, industry analyst Michael Pachter shared a "little secret," revealing that Embark Studio developed the game for that amount, including marketing costs. The development timeline is equally impressive: according to Pachter, the game was completed in three years. The analyst went on to note that ARC Raiders has already generated $500 million.
ARC Raiders has enjoyed notable success, becoming Best Multiplayer Game at The Game Awards 2025. The game's impressive performance was also noted by Pocketpair's Communications Director and Publishing Manager, John Buckley, with a suggestion that the title could set a standard for UE5-powered games.
ARC Raiders is not the only example of a fan-favorite title produced on a very efficient budget. For example, highly popular Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which became Game of the Year 2025, cost its developers less than $10 million.
