Arkane Lyon Is Seeking Lead Level Designer for a Dishonored-Like Game

The studio's next project might be the next game in the Dishonored series or another action-adventure stealth game in the likes of its popular franchise.

Arkane Studios, a French developer best known for the Dishonored series and its most recent title Deathloop, is probably working on a new game. That's according to a recent job opening published on the ZeniMax Jobs website.

The job listing (spotted by GameRant) reads that Arkane Lyon is looking for a lead level designer who will be responsible for designing locations, taking care of their compliance with gameplay principles, and aligning with the storyline.

Judging by the job description, Arkane's next project will probably be another action-adventure stealth game with immersive sim elements.

The studio didn't directly confirm that the new title will be the next installment in the Dishonored series, although it pointed out that the new employee's qualifications should include an "understanding of the values of the game design philosophy behind action adventure stealth games such as the Dishonored series."

It remains to be seen whether Arkane Lyon's next project will indeed be the next Dishonored or a new IP. The studio's latest project so far is the adventure shooter Deathloop, and it's currently unclear what the team will do next.

Meanwhile, Arkane's Austin division is working on the open-world co-op first-person shooter Redfall. The game was originally scheduled to release in the summer of 2022, although the publisher Bethesda recently decided to postpone its launch to the first half of 2023.
