Artist Shows a Fully Rigged Anatomically Correct Skeleton Setup
You can download the rig created by A_Flying_Ferret.
3D Artist known as A_Flying_Ferret showcased this fully rigged male skeleton made with Blender.
The setup is composed of 199 separate objects with anatomically named bones, so it can be used for studying. It also features IK and FK for arms and legs, with bone motion that closely emulates real skeletal motion, and a custom rig UI created with the Bone Manager add-on. The setup includes a Python script so that the custom UI can be run in Blender without the add-on.
Modifier and driver-driven corrections prevent most clipping issues when posing bones, such as the scapula, when rotating the shoulder. The skeleton model is based on a sculpt by Diego Luján García, which the artist manually retopologized and rigged.
