Artist Shows Unity-Based iPad App for Visualizing Medical Data
Check out a new demo of Slice-AR showcased by Roy Rodenhaeuser.
Solutions Engineer, Creative Technologist and former Senior Technical Artist at Unity Roy Rodenhaeuser showcased a demo of Slice-AR, an interactive visualization tool for exploring 3D medical data such as MRI scans. In the video, Rodenhaeuser demonstrated the tool on the Illumetry IO 3D display.
The Unity-powered app allows for defining custom cross-section planes by moving the device. The tool supports dynamic, real-time navigation of complex anatomical structures, making it well-suited for educational, research, and demonstration use cases.
