Artists Show Their Works for Pwnisher's Kinetic Rush Challenge

Which is the best?

Pwnisher's challenges inspire artists every several months, and this time, they put their effort into making the best running animation for Kinetic Rush. Creators had to use the template provided by Pwnisher and make the animation their own by exercising their creativity by September 1.

On September 14, Pwnisher will release a montage of the best animations, and the winners will get prizes, including a mocap bundle by Rokoko, a drawing display, a free year of Marvelous Designer, and more.

HCI Researcher and 3D Designer Zhihao Yao was one of the participants. In the animation, the character runs and then flies on his sword through lotuses, surrounded by birds, all in the creator's signature ink style.

You can find beautiful ink cats, birds, and other subjects in Zhihao's works as well as amazing Blender setups. Earlier, they showcased an unusual way to illuminate parts of the scene using an iPhone, moved objects in Blender by simply tilting a laptop, and created a water splash generator. You can see these and more on Zhihao's X/Twitter page and try their InkTool to make your own "paintings."

But let's turn back to the challenge. Here is a cool Spider-Man Noir made by Dmitriy Zub:
