Atlassian Introduces AI-Powered Virtual Teammate
The assistant is built in collaboration with OpenAI.
Software company Atlassian presented its new AI-powered virtual teammate. Named Atlassian Intelligence, it has a "unique understanding of teamwork" and should accelerate workflows.
"Using large language models, Atlassian Intelligence deduces how teams at a given company work together and constructs a custom teamwork graph showing the types of work being done and the relationship between them. With the open approach of the Atlassian platform, the teamwork graph is also enriched with additional context and data from the third-party apps teams use."
The virtual teammate leverages AI through internal models and Atlassian's collaboration with OpenAI. It can create, summarize and extract information from content, resolve help requests based on its understanding of knowledge base articles, recommend relevant knowledge base articles to resolve requests, and more.
