Autodesk Releases a Free Kitbashing Tool for Faster 3D Creation
Start your way in 3D with Project Falcon and create 3D models even if you don't have any experience.
If you would like to try 3D modeling but have never done this, check out Project Falcon, Autodesk's new free tool for an easy start in 3D modeling. Instead of full manual control like in other modeling software, the tool relies on kitbashing, the process of modeling by assembling parts.
Available as a technology preview and built on Autodesk Flow, Project Falcon is designed to lower the barrier to 3D creation. You don't need to have any experience in 3D, and an intuitive UI will guide you through the entire workflow.

With Project Falcon, you can model using an extensive library of 3D parts, featuring thousands of assets, and assemble them into a spaceship, a vehicle, or a lifelike model. The models that you create with the tool are available for exporting and for further polishing and look development in Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max. Another option is to 3D-print them and craft a collectible or a prototype.
The tool can be accessed in a browser, and the progress is being saved. You will have a dedicated cloud space where you can find all of your assets. The tool doesn't require any installation; all that is needed is an Autodesk account.
