The title is being made with Unreal Engine 5.
A new studio Ballistic Moon is working on an AAA game in Unreal Engine 5 with a "big publisher." A post from user Angie, who credits Toumari for finding the job listing, states that the title is codenamed "Project Bates" and the publisher is listed as Sony Interactive Entertainment.
Ballistic Moon is a young studio with its directors coming from Supermassive Games, the creators of Until Dawn, The Quarry, and The Dark Pictures Anthology. Interestingly enough, the aforementioned ad lists motion capture director Joshua Archer, who also worked on Until Dawn at Supermassive.
The studio has posted several shots from its mocap sessions for the game, which might or might not suggest the project will be similar to Supermassive's choice-based narrative.
There isn't any information about the upcoming game yet, so follow Ballistic Moon on Twitter to learn more. Also, don't forget to join our Reddit page and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we are sharing breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
