Bethesda's Head of Publishing Pete Hines Retires

Pete Hines decided to leave the team after 24 years to enjoy life.

It was announced today that Pete Hines is stepping down from his position as the Head of the Publishing division at Bethesda. The company noted that Hines played a crucial role in its development and influenced other studios, making Bethesda "world-class organization."

Hines had been with the company for 24 years, and now he intends to retire to dedicate his free time to his hobbies and take time to enjoy life. Pete Hines expressed gratitude for the support of the fans and his colleagues, noting that he is proud of the accomplishments achieved over the years.

Hines emphasized that the loyalty of the fans had a significant impact on his work at Bethesda Softworks.

"After 24 years, I have decided my time at Bethesda Softworks has come to an end. I am retiring and will begin an exciting new chapter of my life exploring interests and passions, donating my time where I can and taking more time to enjoy life," Hines wrote.

"My love of Bethesda and its people has never been wavered, and I will never stop being part of this incredible community we have grown. Thank you for the hundreds and thousands of fans I've gotten to meet and talk to over the last 24 years," added the Bethesda veteran.
