BioShock Creator Ken Levine's Next Game, Judas, Will Be Released by March 2025

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed that Ghost Story Games' title is included in the 87 games which are set to release between FY 2023 and FY 2025.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed that Judas, the next game from BioShock creator Ken Levine, will be released by March of 2025.

Developed by Ghost Story Games, Judas was first revealed at The Game Awards in December. The game is set to be a single-player, narrative first-person shooter and is expected to have features familiar to BioShock fans. It will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

On Monday, Take-Two held an earnings call for Q3 2023 where it stated its aim to release 87 games between 2023 and the end of the 2025 fiscal year which will be March 31, 2025. To clarify whether Ghost Story Games' upcoming title was part of the statement, IGN contacted Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick.

According to the outlet, when asked if Judas would be included in the 87 games set to release by March 2025, Zelnick confirmed this information.

Speaking of potential delays to those 87 games, the Take-Two head admitted that the company "did have some slippage in the last few years" but expressed his confidence and optimism about the current stability of the teams and their ability to deliver great titles to the market consistently.

"I feel great about our upcoming schedule. Of course there's always the possibility of some slippage but the teams seem to be functioning really well and I'm optimistic about delivering great titles to the marketplace on an ongoing basis," Zelnick said.

Take-Two released its latest financial report on February 7, revealing that its net bookings grew 60% but still didn't manage to achieve the company's expectations. During the earnings call, Strauss Zelnick discussed the company's performance and also shared his thoughts on generative AI and its potential to transform game development saying that he doubts it will significantly alter game development or give competitors the ability to challenge Take-Two's top titles.
