The information released by an insider two years ago seems to be somewhat confirmed by the job description for this project.
It's been nine long months since Cliffhanger Games, a new EA studio working with Marvel Games, released an update on the Black Panther project. Now, the game has re-emerged in our sights in an unexpected manner.

A job listing discovered by Video Games Chronicle on gr8people.com, a recruitment and talent acquisition platform, reveals the studio is seeking a Principal Sandbox Designer. The role's responsibilities include:
"The Sr. Technical Designer Sandbox will be instrumental in designing and populating encounters, systems, and gameplay within a dynamic and evolving open world. Drawing on a deep understanding of technical design principles and a passion for creating immersive sandbox experiences, this role requires close collaboration with design teams, AI engineering, and technical art departments to bring our game world to life."
The phrase "dynamic and evolving open world" stands out as it confirms earlier non-official information. The insider Grubb, who initially revealed the production of the Black Panther game back in 2022, had hinted at this feature.
The most recent official update about the game occurred in July last year when the team officially announced the game and released a trailer. Since then, news has been quite limited.

Summarize all the info we know about the game until now: it'll be an original, single-player, action-adventure game in an open world. Given that the game is likely still in the early stages of development, it may be some time before a significant update is released.
