Blender-Made Train Animation That Arrived from Dream
Yusuf Kamal's experience might seem like a nightmare.
If you are an unlucky visitor of recurring dreams like me, you know what powerful impressions they can leave behind.
Yusuf Kamal has also experienced some bizarre visions as a child, which he loosely transferred to his new Blender animation, made slightly vintage with a low bit rate.
It starts peacefully enough with some lush vegetation and a railway, which then multiplies and turns into endless roads with trains jumping out at you from the direction you don't expect. This stress-inducing experience is made more nightmarish with the jittery movements of the camera, shaking from anxiety.
"The real dream was sort of different," the creator shared. "In the real dream, I was in a quarry [area] with lots of tunnels and there was a hill with a modern house on it. I was walking with my dad towards the house but I looked back for one second and he was already at the top. Then all the trains started [crisscrossing each other] like in the animation."
