Breakdown: Blender-Made Water Simulation

LARK showed a glimpse of how their summer scene was set up.

LARK

Your perfect summer might have passed or perhaps it's happening right now or waiting around the corner. Whatever the case, LARK's sunny environment evokes only happy feelings, with its wind chime and vegetable washing.

The artist shared a brief video breakdown of the water simulation they made for the scene, showing the props, lookdev process, compositing stage, and final result.

Aside from Blender itself, LARK used the FLIP Fluids add-on for setting up liquid simulation effects, botaniq for the vegetation, Gobo's Plus for procedural Gobo presets, as well as Geo-Scatter, Plant Library, Underwater Caustics Shader, Wiggle, Camera Shakify, and several food models.

You can find the links to all these tools along with LARK's creative experiments on the artist's X/Twitter.
