MinionsArt has shared a look at the updated version of the fake liquid shader and explained how you can recreate it.
Solo Game Developer Joyce, a.k.a. MinionsArt, known for creating mind-blowing projects in Unity, has recently shared a comprehensive breakdown explaining how to set up a great-looking fake liquid shader in Unity.
Based on the developer's earlier-made shader, the new effect uses a C# script that feeds movement data and world fill position data to the shader graph, and unlike the previous version, doesn't require a pivot in the center and works with timescale 0. In her breakdown, MinionsArt shared a look at the code and node graphs behind the shader, explained how to create the textures for the fake liquids, spoke about the lighting setup, and more.
