Breaking Benjamin Frontman Pauses Concert To Promote His Fallout 4 Mod
"Tomorrow I better see all my motherf***in' downloads going up."
Here's something pretty random and hilarious: not only does Breaking Benjamin frontman Benjamin Burnley make mods for Fallout 4, but he also took some time during the band's concert in Holmdel, NJ, last Sunday to talk about one of them, as shared by Reddit user im_all_ears.
Reportedly, Burnley spent more than four minutes urging the audience to download his mod and talking about his beef with another modder:
"There was a modder in the community that was really mean to me and bullying me, saying, 'Oh, your mod is shit. You don't know what you're f*cking doing. So I'm doing this sh*t announcing every f*cking night, and blowing his f*cking downloads out of the water."
According to a Reddit user SpaceGerbil, the context behind Burnley's bit was that he was simply killing time while his drummer waited for a broken snare drum to be replaced. In case you're interested, here's the link to the mod, which seems to be, sadly, vibecoded:
"Fallout 4's vanilla first-person shows a pair of floating arms. This mod replaces that with a True First Person perspective where your player character's full body is rendered and visible in first person. Look down, and you'll see your body, legs, clothing, and equipped gear as part of the same character you see in third person.
Your perspective also stays in first person during interactions that would normally force the camera out, such as workstations, power armor, etc. Third person is unaffected."
You never know who might be making mods in their spare time: for example, B. Dylan Hollis, the TikTok and YouTube baker who cooks vintage recipes, apparently also makes Fallout mods.
