Bulletstorm Dev Is Seemingly Working on an AAA Game Based on a Microsoft IP

People Can Fly, a Polish video game developer known for titles like Bulletstorm and Outriders, is seemingly working on a new AAA game based on a Microsoft IP.

The news of People Can Fly collaborating with Microsoft was initially brought to light by Twitter user Wario64, who noticed a document from the Polish developer referencing this partnership.

According to the document, People Can Fly, which worked on games such as Bulletstorm, Gears of War: Judgment, and Outriders, entered into a contract with Microsoft on June 13. As per the agreement, the studio will be working on an undisclosed AAA game for one of Microsoft's franchises.

In the document the game is referred to as "Project Maverick," but no further details are provided about the title. The document also does not reveal the genre of the project. However, it discloses that the anticipated production budget for the project will range from $30 million to $50 million.
