Call of Duty Warzone Map Rotation is Impossible Due to the Game's Size

Seems like there will be no Verdansk any time soon.

Call of Duty is infamous for how much space it takes on a hard drive. Seems like this is a problem not only for players. Call of Duty Creative Lead Josh Bridge said that Activision wants to add map rotation to Warzone but can't due to technical difficulties: the game is too big to redownload.

"If we pulled out Caldera and said OK, we’re going to drop in Verdansk — this could mean redownloading the size of Warzone. And every time we’ve done that, we lose players," Bridge said.

According to him, the company is working on solving this issue, but it's probably going to take a while for players to see Verdansk.
