Can Artist Make This PlayStation 1 Animation Even More Realistic?
Share your tips with Diogo Lança.
No, your eyes are not deceiving you: this PlayStation 1 scene is not real, it's an animation created by Diogo Lança.
The PS1 was modeled based on the real device, which the artist had to disassemble for better accuracy. The transparent plastic, the disk slowing down – it's all done with meticulous attention to detail, but the creator still wants to know what else he can do to make it more realistic.
You might find no room for improvement, or perhaps you agree with some users on the Blender subreddit, who think the lid opening should start a little faster. Or maybe you have your own notes you'd like to share – find Lança on Instagram or LinkedIn, where you can also see his other works and tutorials.
There are plenty of projects that can fool your eye here on 80 Level. For example, this windowsill video that was so realistic that mods removed it from the Blender subreddit. Or, this workshop pseudo-footage.
