Cartoonish Co-Op Dungeon Crawler From Don't Starve Devs is Now Available

Klei Entertainment, a development studio known for such titles as Don't Starve and Oxygen Not Included, strikes again by launching its brand-new game in Early Access. Check out Rotwood, the team's newest title that combines dungeon crawler gameplay with co-op and Klei's distinctive art style, resulting in a memorable experience you can enjoy alone or with your friends.

In Rotwood, you'll need to upgrade your gear, select a weapon, and refine your skills in order to protect your haven from the corrupted monsters dwelling in the woods. With its rich and varied combat mechanics, the game challenges you to utilize your abilities and gather resources wisely before delving too deeply into the Rotwood, prioritizing practice, strategy, and skill over brute force and button-mashing.

"Gather your friends and equipment then set out to face each boss on their own turf. Collect the rewards, get stronger, and master your weapon to take on bigger, badder bosses and their minions," reads the game's description. "Each time you venture out into the Rotwood, collect and combine interesting powerups and abilities offered throughout your hunt. Choose your gear and strategize your choices to create insane builds that probably shouldn't be allowed."
