Game developer koyima shared a sneak peek at their upcoming 2D pixel-art souls-like RPG, Crimson Capes. The newly revealed footage features intense combat, as the protagonist battles a fierce enemy known as Crocolisk.
The game seamlessly blends pixelated style and fantasy vibes, bringing a fresh look to the genre of sword and sorcery, and at the same time, reminding the audience of classic retro titles. The main character, Milon the Tempest, is tasked to take down a conspiracy of wizards and is the leader of the Crimson Capes, a guild of witch-hunters, undertaking missions across the entire kingdom.
You can play as different characters, each having a unique fighting style and skills. While completing the missions, explore the fascinating magical world, full of old ruins, towers, and mystical forests.
