CD Projekt Red Ex-Developers Launched a New Game Studio

The studio is called Rebel Wolves and will be led by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz.

A team of veterans from CD Projekt Red, a studio known for Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher franchise, have launched their own game studio called Rebel Wolves. The team is comprised of seasoned game developers who worked on a variety of titles, including The Witcher series, Cyberpunk 2077, Thronebreaker, and Shadow Warrior 2. The studio will be led by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, who is also CDPR's Ex-Developer.

According to the team, they are currently working on an AAA, dark fantasy RPG, written by Rebel Wolves' Co-Founder and Narrative Director Jakub Szamałek, who also worked on The Witcher 3. The game is being developed for PCs and next-gen consoles. The team promises to share more information regarding the game in the near future.

"We're proud of our past achievements, but we're hungry for more," said Konrad Tomaszkiewicz. "We want to experiment, push the envelope, discover new ways for telling stories in the video game medium. We felt that starting a new company, where we call all the shots, will give us the freedom to take the necessary risks to fulfill these ambitions."
