Bandai Namco to Publish the Debut Title from the Game Studio Founded by CD Projekt Veterans

Rebel Wolves announced their publishing partner for the upcoming dark fantasy RPG Dawnwalker.

Rebel Wolves has announced that they will be teaming up with Bandai Namco to publish their debut title, Dawnwalker, a dark fantasy RPG built on Unreal Engine 5.

Founded in 2022, Rebel Wolves is led by CEO Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, the game director of The Witcher 3. Its members include ex-developers from CD Projekt Red, who worked on Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher series. Later in that year, it secured a strategic investment from NetEase, a Chinese gaming giant. The team has grown in the past two years, and Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, Quest Director of Cyberpunk 2077, joined the team as Creative Director.

The studio's debut title, Dawnwalker, was officially revealed at the beginning of this year. What we already know is that it is written by Jakub Szamałek, Rebel Wolves' Co-Founder and Narrative Director; also, the game is created for both PCs and next-generation consoles. But other than these, we have limited information about it, including gameplay details or a release window.

Rebel Wolves' Chief Publishing Officer, Tomasz Tinc, has shown the studio's anticipation for the cooperation with the publisher in a press release:

"Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe, a company known for its dedication to the role-playing genre and willingness to engage with new IPs, is a perfect match for our Wolfpack. Not only does it share our values, but also its track record in publishing narrative-driven RPGs speaks for itself. We're looking forward to working with them to bring the first chapter of the Dawnwalker saga to gamers worldwide."
