Chaos has officially released Chaos Vantage 2, a massive update to their real-time ray-tracing renderer for rendering large scenes.
Featuring a slew of new features and improvements, the release brings a novel Scene States system, which allows you to assign light setups, materials, object transformations, and post-process looks to different cameras, adds a brand-new scattering tool that lets you populate your scenes with millions of objects in just a few clicks, adds support for volumetric fog with realistic light scattering, adds an NVIDIA AI Denoiser with an upscaling mode, and more.

- You can now create various types of lights directly in Vantage. Use the advanced placement options to achieve lookdev directly in Vantage without any DCC dependency.
- A more structured method of grouping cameras and assigning states to these groups.
- HDR Monitor support.
- Support for Anima4D assets.
- From flickering and fading lights to animating the tiling offset, your animated materials, textures, and lights now work seamlessly in Vantage.
- Orthographic cameras.
- Support for Mesh Lights.
- Support for multiple UV channels.
- Support for AMD GPUs.
- Improved UI.
