Chaotic Monkey Puzzle Co-Op BOMBANANA! Launches on Steam to Positive Reviews

The full release has new features and environments compared to the demo.

BOMBANANA!, an online co-op puzzle game from indie team Lefto Studio, whose demo was the most played during Steam's Next Fest in June, has just been released and has already become players' favorite.

The game is a three-player co-op team of monkeys who are tasked with defusing bombs. But there's a catch: each of the monkeys is either blind, deaf, or mute, so each player has limited information to share and perceive. It's very much like the 2015 co-op puzzle game Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes from Steel Crate Games, but with a chaotic twist.

BOMBANANA! features three game modes: Campaign, Endless, and Custom. The full release also includes new environments with various hazards and interactions to navigate, as well as new puzzles and modifiers.

The game garnered positive reviews on Valve's PC platform, with 97% of ratings reflecting a favorable opinion. Players praise its concept, chaotic gameplay, and fun.

According to the data on SteamDB, the game peaked at over 17,000 players within about two days after its release, so if you like crazy, chaotic games, check it out.

Speaking of SteamDB, it has recently been acquired by Chosen, the parent company of Nexus Mods. After the deal, the database will retain its name, branding, website, browser extension, Discord server, Steam group, and community identity. Following the acquisition, Nexus Mods could use SteamDB's game update history to warn users when a mod might break.
