Check Out a Realistic 3D Recreation of Star Wars' Jango Fett

Temuera Morrison's likeness was translated into the digital realm using Maya, ZBrush, Mari, and XGen.

Ander Humbert, a talented 3D Character Artist and Asset TD at TexturingXYZ, continues his work of bringing characters from the Star Wars universe into the digital realm with a new highly-realistic portrait.

Having completed a stunning portrait of Adam Driver, an actor best known for his portrayal of Kylo Ren in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, the artist has now turned his attention to the prequels instead, producing an authentic character model of Jango Fett, the genetic "father" of Boba Fett and the clone troopers, portrayed by a New Zealand actor Temuera Morrison.

To set up the model, Ander utilized an assortment of 3D software, including Maya, ZBrush, Mari, Nuke, Arnold, and XGen. Additionally, the creator employed TexturingXYZ's VFace pack 108 for skin texture maps. Attached below are some of the renders and WIP shots shared by the artist, you can check out more by visiting Ander's ArtStation page:

Previously, Ander also joined 80 Level to discuss the production process behind the aforementioned Adam Driver project and explain how the character was modeled in Maya, rendered in Arnold, and textured with Texturing XYZ's materials. You can read the full interview by clicking this link.
