The creator also utilized EasyFog to add fog cards to the environment.
Continuing his series of mesmerizing digital environments powered by Unreal Engine, 3D Environment/Lighting Artist Abanob Atef presents Dark World, a new atmospheric 3D scene inspired by games such as Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and the more recent God of War titles.
Set up in Unreal Engine 5, the new environment was created using Megascans assets and Epic's Valley of the Ancient Sample, available on the UE Marketplace. To customize the rocky landscape, the author created a custom moss shader and a burned fire decal, which enabled him to quickly and easily add moss and give the rocks a scorched appearance. Additionally, the artist utilized William Faucher's EasyFog tool to add fog cards to the scene.
