The author utilized ZBrush and Blender to recreate the original 2D concept in 3D.
Emma Nosengo, a 3D Modeler and Character Artist, has delivered a masterclass in stylized character modeling with her latest creation – an NPR 3D model of a woman exuding a strong painterly aesthetic.
Titled Doki-Doki Heartbreaker, the project is based on Mathias Osland's 2D illustration of the same name, perfectly capturing the original's two-dimensional nature with its impeccable shading. According to Emma, the character was fully sculpted and painted in ZBrush and rendered in Blender, with Clip Studio Paint having been used to handle additional tasks.
