As Owlcat Games' Cinematic Director Nik Samborsky explained, he dedicated over a year, working on and off, to create this cinematic as a tribute to Furious 7, one of his all-time favorite movies.
This project provided the artist with many opportunities to learn and grow, and Nik revealed that he plans to apply these lessons to his next big project, an original short film he hopes to start in 2026. As for technical details, Nik used Unreal Engine 5.5 with the NFOR path tracing denoiser and did color grading using Dehancer Pro.
