The creator of MeshBlend Tore Lervik showed a new setup demonstrating the tool's features.
3D Artist Tore Lervik, the creator of a recently released fantastic Unreal Engine 5 plug-in MeshBlend, shared a demo showcasing the tool's features, seamlessly blending the rock meshes and modifying the 3D environment just by dragging and dropping new parts.
MeshBlend allows for controllable blending of meshes and supports a wide range of scenarios. The tool was tested and used in real projects, for example, Subnautica 2. The artist clarified that the plug-in works with most opaque meshes, and there's a screen-space effect at its core.
