Check Out New Trailer of Life Sim SEED Where Your Character Plays Even When You Are Away
Klang Games shared updates on their life sim featuring a persistent world.
At Future Games Show, Klang Games showcased a new cinematic trailer for its mind-blowing life sim SEED, renowned for its unusual idea – a persistent world, in which your character continues to be active in the game world even when you are not playing. Featuring Björk's vibrant track Human Behaviour, the trailer shares a new look at the game's world and characters.
SEED is set on a new planet of Avesta, where humanity traveled at the end of the 21st century. The sim offers a massive world, where you, along with other players, need to build a new society. A remarkable feature of the game is that the world never stops or resets – and not only do environments continue to exist and change while you are not playing, but also your characters, named Seedlings.
"Avesta is always in motion. Societies grow, trade, and adapt in real time, even when you're offline."

You build a society and shape its future from scratch, just like it was on Earth millions of years ago, starting from camps, and then gradually evolving to setting laws and policies, creating enterprises, and managing resources. The game features an AI-driven connection, and you can talk to your Seedlings through generative AI to influence their lives and relationships.

In our earlier interview, Klang Games' Stephan Röhrig shared that the developers opted for focusing on realistic content instead of the fantastic direction because they wanted players to identify with the Seedlings. The concept of multiplayer online games, where people can collaborate and build things together, became the major inspiration for the project.
