3D Artist Almantas Vasiliauskas unveiled this cool festive setup with a naughty dog knocking over the Christmas tree. The scene was brought to life using Houdini.
The artist shared that the setup was supposed to be a test render, but it evolved into a full shot with multiple layers. The Christmas tree setup was the creator's first complex setup in Houdini; it features about 4 million needles, a complicated scattering setup, branch spine-finding solutions, and a slow procedural garland.
