Check Out This Course on Real-Time Destruction Effects for Games in UE5
DoubleJump Academy presented a new workshop.
DoubleJump Academy founder Urban Bradesko revealed this impressive setup, showing WIP and a final version of a realistic thunder and a tornado depicted with high-quality VFX. The video is a preview of the academy's new workshop dedicated to visualizing destruction using Houdini and Unreal Engine 5.
The course is a step-by-step guide that helps you master creating real-time destruction effects in Unreal Engine 5. The tutorials cover a wide range of effects, including rocket launchers, tornadoes, traffic cones, cinder blocks, and tires, while demonstrating how different materials react – cloth torn apart, metal bent, walls reduced to rubble, and much more.
The learning path is led by Grayson Cotrell, whom you might know from "Houdini for Games in Unreal Engine."
