Check Out This Cute Stylized Rig of Octotrooper from Splatoon

Having a tentacle hanging in front of your face all the time must be infuriating, and FoggyKog's rig of Octotrooper from Splatoon demonstrates it really well. The character looks annoyed (and squishy) and as charming as they are in the game.

To make the rig, the artist used CG Cookie's tutorial and enabled the rotation checkbox on the IK constraint. "I have duplicate bones with some additional constraints that allow the tentacle to stretch when it’s fully straightened out," FoggyKog explained.
