Check Out This Footage From A 3D Platformer Parkour Game Made With UE

Command your character's every move with sheer smoothness — slide, walk, fall, wall slide, flip, run, or turn around.

Indie game developer Jason Miletta has recently shared some footage from his latest project, a 3D platformer parkour game crafted in Unreal Engine.

The footage impressed us with smooth movement mechanics. As the character (a cute-looking creature with antlers) navigates through the space, a cloud trail marks their path. Timely and satisfying feedback on the character's actions is definitely an aspect that can't be overlooked — with every jump, a cloud circle appears, and sparks fly as the character slides across surfaces.

Targets are strategically placed, offering challenges to direct the character's movements with higher precision:

The project is currently a work in progress. As Jason continues sharing the progress made, you can follow him on Twitter to be updated. JumpBear is a mini-game developed by Jason, which would take around 20 minutes to play. Try it out if you are interested.
