Check Out This Game Where You Explore a Sinkhole at the Bottom of the Ocean
It's not for the people who have thalassophobia.
There's Nothing Down There is a short horror exploration game developed by Tim Trankle, and it's set to release on June 4 this year. In the game, you will have to pilot a submarine through caves in the dark ocean to investigate an anomaly.
But the horror begins when you and your colleagues find the architecture of a lost and ancient civilization that may still be alive, and they will fight whatever comes in.
The game is in first person, which gives a more immersive experience and makes the horror more surprising. You will be able to explore huge ancient ruins, use a sonar system to find hidden pathways, face an enormous machine, and all of this with a voiced story.
It's set to be a very short game without a save system, making you finish it in a single session, which, according to the developer, might take 40 minutes. And even though it sounds like the horror doesn't last long, it depicts a very real thing, and that is that we don't fully know what is at the bottom of the ocean.
If you like the ocean and its mysteries, you may enjoy this game, but if you are afraid of it, maybe don't try this.
