Check Out This Game Where You Play a Handheld Console While on a Date
DateBoy is a short entertaining game centered on an extremely awkward date.
Check out DateBoy, a sim developed by Anton Pätsi, Henri Pätsi, where you're on a date – but it isn't your main focus. Instead, you play on a Game Boy while casually participating in the conversation.
You're seated at a restaurant with a menu and a pizza in front of you, talking to your date about your day, yet you choose to focus on your retro handheld console, playing arcade games. As a result, you barely pay attention to the other person, miss most of what they're saying, and scramble to stay in the conversation by picking the right responses at the right time.
The situation leads to a series of hilarious moments, made even funnier by a quirky waiter who regularly stops by your table.

The experience is intentionally short, delivering the humor of this awkward situation in a bite-sized format that lasts around 15-30 minutes.
