Check Out This Horror Game Inspired by Manga & Japanese Folklore

If you enjoy playing thrilling horror games, take a look at NOROI KAGO: the Grudged Domain, an upcoming chilling Japanese action horror by Toydium and TOEI ANIMATION.

The game was inspired by Japanese folklore and its supernatural creatures. The players need to escape an enclosed area where the scary being known as "Yokai" resides. And it is not the only terror, as there is also a curse that consumes the characters and turns them into half-Yokai creatures, preventing them from escaping the monster's lair.

NOROI KAGO: the Grudged Domain has a unique atmosphere, with visuals inspired by the works of Shigeru Mizuki, the creator of the famous manga series GeGeGe no Kitaro, which received an anime adaptation. The black-and-white graphics with grain effect and intensive contrast contribute to the game's horrifying atmosphere.

The game is a co-op multiplayer game with up to four players. Cooperation between players is crucial, as only teamwork will help them find items necessary for the escape, with Yokai lurking around.

The game is scheduled for 2025.
