Made using Blender by the one and only Cartesian Caramel.
It’s been quite a while since we last visited the portfolio of perhaps one of the most imaginative 3D Artists and Animators, Cartesian Caramel, but rest assured, the maestro continues to delight audiences with his spectacular 3D projects.
Just recently, the artist presented a new fascinating concept – an unrolling house in two variations: one made of bricks and one out of post-it notes – that puts Harry Potter's moving brick wall to shame, capturing the idea in two mesmerizing animations. True to form, the creator employed Blender and its Geometry Nodes toolset to produce the sequences.
Of course, the entire working process was captured in Cartesian's hour-long breakdown, available for free via the creator's YouTube channel. Be sure to watch it as well to see if you can recreate the setup yourself:
Previously, Cartesian also showcased a cool fern physics test, funny rig tests, shark spin, fractal animation, extrude cuts modifier, procedural robot hand, and many other awesome projects, which you can find by visiting the creator's Twitter page.
