Check Out This Sun Wukong Jump Animation Breakdown

Zygi Neviera demonstrated simple guides used for the pose cycle.

Senior Animator Zygi Neviera shared his submission for Adam Turnbull's September Pose Cycle, created using Modular Control Rig in Unreal Engine 5. The breakdown serves as a clear example of motion design driven by primitive geometry, which helps animators keep everything clean and manageable.

"The simplicity yet complexity of the bouncing ball comes up every time, it can be applied to any animation, blocking out loops, combat, experiments, and body mechanics. It keeps the slate clean when you have detail-rich characters," noted Zygi.
