Dragontwin is an upcoming indie project with stunning animations and a beautiful setting.
Check out Dragontwin, an indie fantasy game in the early development stages that offers flying a dragon in a beautiful celestial setting. Dragontwin is created by a solo developer known as Sidenius, using Unreal Engine 5.
It is already warmly accepted by the audience, as seen from the comments on Twitter. The animation and the dragon's movements are impressive, with high-quality transitions and smooth dynamics of the creature. Camera movements and angles are set with high expertise, making the visuals look like cinematic footage. Take a look at this awesome clip showcased by the developer:
The creator shared that the dragon's fire will be customizable and showed several color variants, which are only a few from a wide range that will appear in the gameplay. "They can be picked from a full spectrum color wheel," as explained by the developer.
Sidenius said that the only UI element implemented in the game now is a small dot that represents the cursor, which controls the camera as a player moves it on the screen. Further plans include improvement of the dragon's wings with SSS+translucency and animation tweaks.
The creator also showcased the preliminary soundtrack for the project:
As stated on Reddit, the project recently got a composer who will be working on the original music. Check out other clips providing a glimpse at Dragontwin, featuring beautiful landscapes and boundless horizons:
