The demo is from a black hole fishing game.
Game Developer known as SDG Games showcased this fantastic visualization of a black hole whirling water shader set up with Godot. The creator shared that crafting this setup took him no less than 30 hours.
The shader demo refers to the developer's fishing 2D clicker titled Black Hole Fishing, an absurd incremental game. In the game, you stock your pond with fish, discover exotic fish traits, catch as many fish as possible, and feed the aquatic creatures to a singularity. Then, you drain the pond, upgrade everything, and repeat.
Black Hole Fishing is currently in development and is set to launch at the beginning of 2026. Check out the trailer:
