Check Out This WIP Pixel-Style Game Set in the Old West
Hawkun shared updates on a retro-style FPS Bad Pixels.
Indie Game Developer Hawkun showcased this retro-style gameplay demo, which refers to the developer's upcoming game Bad Pixels, a 8-Bit FPS set in the Old West.
The creator is a retro game aesthetic enjoyer who likes making low-poly and pixel art for GB, C64, NES, MD, and PS1-style projects. Bad Pixels aligns with this graphic style, inviting the players to a gritty pixel-style world. Playing as the Sheriff, you need to restore the peace in that strange place.
The game features 16 main missions with various boss fights that unfold against the backdrop of a gloomy world portrayed in an 8-bit visual style, with environments ranging from dusty towns to remote hills and snowy outposts. Players can use a variety of classic weapons alongside steam-powered items.
