Check Out Timelapse of Creating Ben Grimm-Inspired Portrait in ZBrush

Marcus Whinney continues a series of 3D portraits called A Hero Emerges.

Take a look at this amazing 3D portrait of a troll created in ZBrush and Photoshop by 3D Artist Marcus Whinney.

The artwork is a part of a series called A Hero Emerges. This portrait was created based on Marvel's Ben Grimm, a.k.a. The Thing concept. The artist brought photorealistic graphic fidelity to the character's portrait, accurately capturing his bold and decisive nature.

Marcus Whinney shared that it took him about 1.5 hours of work in ZBrush and 38 minutes in Photoshop. The final version of the portrait:

Before, Marcus Whinney already showcased artwork created on the base of the look of Ben Grimm from Marvel's The Fantastic Four in 3D, drawing inspiration from the original comics and film adaptations produced in Hollywood. This version of the character also conveys his courageous temper:
